Description: The XVth ICMHD and VIth Workshop
The XVth International Conference on MHD Energy Conversion and the VIth
Workshop on Magnetoplasma Aerodynamics for Aerospace Applications will be held
in Moscow, Russia, May 24-27, 2005. The Conference and Workshop is organized by
the Institute of High Temperatures of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the
International Liaison Group on MHD Energy Conversion under the sponsorship of
UNESCO and the Scientific Councils of RAS for Direct Energy Conversion, for
Fluid Mechanics, for Low Temperatures Plasma Physics with the participation and
support by RFBR, AIAA, EOARD, SEAM and Japanese MHD Society.
The objective of the XVth ICMHD and VIth Workshop is to provide a forum for
presentation and discussion of recent progress in worldwide MHD science and
technology as related to energy conversion and magnetoplasma aerodynamics for
aerospace applications.
The Conference and Workshop will be conducted with invited and contributed oral
and poster sessions. Invited talks, works-in-progress, panel discussions and
working sessions related to technology status and its future direction can also
be arranged.
Intending authors are invited to submit abstracts in electronic form for
consideration by the Program Committee. The deadline for receipt of abstracts
is 1 December 2004.
Authors will be advised by 20 December 2004.
